Hi folks! We're super excited to announce that our team of Stars just grew even bigger! Let's give a warm welcome (back) to Jordan aka @CryticalAce, who's already well-familiar with the Stars program from a few years ago! 😎 🙌 🎉 

Welcome back, Jordan! 👋 Could you tell a bit more about yourself for those who haven’t had the pleasure of meeting you yet?

G'day! I'm Jordan, I work in the mines in Australia driving road trains! I also fly planes and dabble in other hobbies here and there like software development, acting and photography.

 

Woah, talk about a diversity of interests! I bet you're often busy on the road and music must definitely help pass time during a long drive. What's been blasting from your stereo lately? 📻 🔊

Yeah Spotify is in my ears all the time on long drives, I tend towards country as it just has all the right feels on a long drive. At the moment I have Luke Combs, Jordan Davis, Alan Jackson and Cooper Alan playing a lot!

So planes, huh? Isn’t that dangerous? What made you say “I wanna be a pilot when I grow up”? Which one do you find more difficult: landing a plane or reverse parking a double trailer truck in a narrow space? 😰

Haha, flying planes is less dangerous than driving a car, and a hell of a lot more fun! I've always had a fascination with planes and joining my Dad in a small plane while he did a trial flight really solidified that desire to fly. 🛩

As for what's more difficult, both require an adept touch and finesse, although I'd have to say backing a double into a tight spot is harder as not all locations are built with trucks like that in mind!

Speaking of danger, Australia: have you ever had any run-ins with one of the many fearsome beasts you got there? Any reptiles, spiders? I’ve heard that’s usually a regular Monday afternoon for you folks. 🐍

Yes! There are plenty to have run ins with, I've had spiders and scorpions in my boots and snakes and spiders in the house. I've found some Emu's that still hold a grudge after the war and been chased but they haven't got their claws on me yet! 😁

With all the traveling that you do, which place you’ve visited has left a profound impact on you? What made the experience so memorable?

Having visited a lot of war memorials, they have a large impact on me, keeping the people that paid the ultimate price for our way of life in our hearts and minds is something that is near to my heart. 💚

CryticalAce... Is there a backstory behind your username? How did you choose it? 🤔

No real backstory honestly, it kind of just came to be when I was brainstorming names for a crew and it just became what I used from then on!

Top Gun beware! 😎 Lastly, what's one thing that can instantly make your day a 10/10?
 

I'd have to say finishing my swing in the mines and getting home to my friends and family always puts a big smile on my face!
