Hey folks,
Another 30 days of scorching heat have passed 🌡 and it's time to share what kept those moderator heads ringing and those helping hands typing!
Ladies first, so let's see what @Lyubka has in store for us:

"I love this track, it was one of the most famous one on the Tomorrowland festival this year - no, unfortunately I wasn't there but all the videos I saw on TikTok just gave me the vibe and I enjoy the beat of this song!"

"I really enjoy this song. I listen to it couple of times a day - with every new episode 😁 I was inspired by a recent tv series that I'm watching and honestly, I can't get enough of it."
Indeed, a binge-watch-worthy TV show!
We continue with the author of last month's IOH post - @Nikola:
"I figured out that all I need is 100 kilos of non-highly intellectual lyrics and beats to get me in a summer mood. Just listen to this guy's description of what heaven looks like. If 100 kilos was God, the world would be a non-stop party. And so would the afterlife. I wish sometimes things were that simple..."

They might be dude, you never know...
Next up, we have @Vasil with a couple more Eminem classics:
"Coming back to an old favorite of mine! This song perfectly represents the notion that being good doesn't necessarily mean you can't also be cold and merciless when being pushed (or forced into survival mode). Being dangerous but actively choosing to be good and caring regardless is what it means to be kind.

Which also reminds me of another song that's about the strength of character and not giving up:

They're also good for running! 😄
Oh, and we can throw this one in for good measure:

It's good."
Definitely a good addition to any running mix, Vasko!
@Joan comes next:
"I discovered a lot of new music in the previous few months, the most recent example being British war machines Bolt Thrower, whose discography I've been rediscovering, going through each album in order. These guys just never disappoint with their crushing riffs and awesome grooves. I love the topics of war set around various settings and time periods and it was my recent blog about war music that inspired this campaign of conquest through their albums

Later in August though, with summer vacation in full swing, I decided to lay it back and just enjoy artists I know well. One such are the kings of death metal, Cannibal Corpse. They're in a bit of a paradoxical position - they are by a large margin the most commercially successful death metal band and even non-metalheads have heard of them. However, because they are so successful, a lot of hardcore death metal fans dismiss them, thinking they are "too mainstream". However, CC are undeniably the gold standard for death metal and cover everything that makes the genre what it is. They have in no way dumbed down their sound to achieve their success. Their albums are unquestionably some of the best in the genre and deserve their due respects.

Other than that, I've also been delving into some melodic death metal too, such as with Finnish legends Omnium Gatherum. The more I listen to these guys, the more I love them, they are the peak of what this genre can offer. The emotions always run high when blasting their awesome songs. An amazing live band too and one of my favourite concert experiences ever.

And finally, the odd phenomenon in the metal world called Dethklok - the fictional band that took the world by storm. These guys were one of my most important stepping stones into heavy music, so they will always have a place in my heart. They even released a new album just now! Unthinkable!"

It's always a pleasure to watch you speak about music, dude!
@Yordan joins the party with an eclectic mix:
"Antediluvian are masters at making you uncomfortable. The sound these canadians conjure is as unrelenting as it's disgusting and unnerving, and you'll likely feel the urge for a long relaxing bath after listening to this. One of the few bands that make my skin crawl, Antediluvian is truly a surreal experience.

Looking back on my childhood's pop hits, Matt Pokora had some bangers like "Dangerous" and "Catch me if you can", but the one I loved the most was definitely "Oblivion". With its airy synth choirs and that killer of a hook, the song was (and still is) among my top 5 favorite pop tracks."

We finish in reverse alphabetical order with @Alex:
"First I saw some comments online about the video and Doja Cat's relation to Satanism. I thought it would be interesting to see what the fuss is about. The videoclip is kind of weird, but the song is an absolute banger."

What an awesome mix everyone, thanks a lot! See you in another month! 🙌
