About following a band?

I like finding unknown bands and listening to their music and if I like them, I will follow them. But I have recently noticed when I click on a bands followers button that I been following it pulls up several users that are following, but I'm not in that list. Is there a reason for this?

Plus, a band might have 100 followers and only 10 is on the actual list. Why is this?

When you click followers I should be in the list right?

Ahh right now just the total follower count is displayed, not a display of all followers under the listing. There is several ideas being offered from users on the community to make a feature, so users can see all the followers under an artist and under other users as well in the New Ideas section of the community.

When I click on the followers tab, it opens a little window with the list of followers, But im not on the list and either are many others from what I can gather. Cause it say a 125 followers, but only has 25 in the list when you click on the tab.

Here's an example: The artist Banners has 9700 followers and when I click it only has maybe 100 showing

Lets see when the follower window is open does it let you mouse scroll through the list? I am seeing many more followers than just 25, and I am able to scroll through the user listing of followers. The mouse pointer has to be inside the open follower window for the scrolling to work.

Yes I did scoll down. Did you see me on that list?  There may be more than 25, but there is not 125. I know some other band have 1000s of followers and when you click it shows a fraction. I'm just curious why? And why i'm not showing on the list. Is it only the premium users that show up?

Are you using the same user name on the Spotify service as you are on the help community here? And the webplayer I am not sure about with the followers being displayed, as the webplayer seems to be the rare item from Spotify that users can actaully see a list of followers from a context window from artist pages. The Win desktop and Android Spotify apps do no allow users to see follower listings of users from artist pages, users with these apps just get total follower counts is all from the About artists pages.

Yes, I'm using the same user name.  I signed up to Spotify on my laptop, when I finshed, I then downloaded it on my computer. Are there updates for Spotify on the laptop?

Yes users have been getting updates about every couple of weeks for the Spotify desktop app.
