Hey @whydoihavetosignup,
It's possible that the audiobook is temporarily unavailable at the moment. This depends on permissions from rights holders.
Hopefully it won't be too long before it's available again. In the meantime, make sure you're always running the latest version of Spotify so you don't miss out on any updates.
The Community is here if there's anything else you need assistance with.
Cheers 🤘

Hello!
I've tried this on a Macbook Pro, Nov. 2023, running Sonoma 14.4.1 and an Iphone 7 running IOS 15.8.2
I've tried restarting the app, reinstalling the app, wiping the cache, using different platforms - same issue.
Yes, it happens on all devices.
Hello!
- It's Spotify for Mac OS (Silicon) on a Macbook Pro (2023), running Sonoma 14.4.1, and on an Iphone 7 running iOS 15.8.2
- I've tried reinstalling Spotify, restarting spotify, clearing the cache, playing other audiobooks, using other devices. None of these solutions appear to work.
- Please see the screen capture below. I get no error messages or anything like that. The play button just doesn't work.
Hey there @aboymadeofsky,
Thanks for all additional info!
As the book appears differently from our end when we search for it, would you mind sending us a link to the audiobook you're seeing so that we can have a closer look? You can copy the link by opening the audiobook > press the 3 dots.
We'll keep an eye out for your reply!
I'm having the same issue with this audiobook. I don't have this issue with other audiobooks. Here is the link https://open.spotify.com/show/0JtDwutG0n56KCP2HCUTaP?si=N2t9wKtlSt--4I5dRA1ZhQ
It's working now. Thanks
This is happening with this audiobook too: https://open.spotify.com/show/70HZ3rEABhmZRDDYTinTZO
On both mobile and desktop, no chapters appear and the play button doesn't work. I have premium and have hours available to listen. Other books work fine.

My Question or Issue
I am trying to listen to the Overlord, vol.13: Paladin of the Sacred Kingdom Pt.II audiobook which released July 15th. I am unable to and the book says that there are no chapters in the book and when I click the play button, it briefly changes color and then nothing happens. I do have audiobook time left for the month and other audiobooks work, but this one in particular won’t play. Is there anything I can do to fix it?
I am still seeing this issue despite trying the troubleshooting steps. Here is a link to the book that will not play nor download

Trying from a different device, it insists no internet connection is available despite all other apps reporting internet access. Given that this issue has been ongoing for over a year, why is it not present in the ongoing issues section?
Hey @Dance,
Thanks for sharing this info with us!
Does this error persist with multiple audiobooks or just this one and are all chapters from it affected or only a single one? We tried reproducing the behaviour but the Audiobook plays without issues on our end.
I'd also check if any VPN services are enabled and make sure offline mode is set to off. In case it's off, try setting it to on and back to off again. It's a good idea to see if clearing the cached data on the affected device would make a difference. Log out of the app and back in twice in a row after this to force a manual sync of all your data & settings.
You've also mentioned that this is occurring on more than one device, so I'm curious to know what the devices are (device make & model + its OS version) and if you're seeing the same error on both. In case the error remains, we'd like to know the app version you're running on both devices as well.
Many thanks! We'll be on the lookout for your response 🙂
This audiobook will not play and seems to be having the same issues as the above. Can you fix it?

I was listening to an audiobook. I listened to the first one then the second one. I didn’t finish the second one because I ran out of hours. When I went back to it it kept telling me it wasn’t available in my region. I didn’t finish change regions from uk to France for a little bit but now I’m back on uk. But I still don’t have access to forth wing dramatized version part 2. I only find the audio book in French or German ? How do I stop that?!
