Andrew Tate on Spotify

Why do you allow this misogynist/ sexual predator to have content on Spotify, read the room and remove it.

Spotify is going the Twitter/X way it seems... These super rich oligarchs love right wing extremists... It's their idea of free speech that a sexual predator can attract more customers

why are you supporting andrew ta

te, the convicted sexual predator????

I have signed this.Spotify: Stop profiting from sexual exploitation. Remove Andrew Tate’s harmful trafficking courses now. https://www.change.org/p/demand-spotify-remove-andrew-tate-s-harmful-courses-on-how-to-traffic-women

I’ll be deleting my account and encouraging everyone I know to do the same if this isn’t addressed.

Also cancelling my subscription if Andrew Tates podcast is not removed before my next billing cycle. Will be moving to Tidal - bonus is they also compensate artists better than Spotify.

I also cannot believe this and I will be cancelling my account before the next billing cycle is this is not removed

I am contacting customer service now but if they dont' remove this I am pulling my podcast off the site and cancelling my account. It is appalling.

We will be cancelling our family account as well. Apple Music is fine

I agree. This is disgusting. Everyone involved with Spotify should be ashamed and embarrassed right now. Remove Andrew Tate immediately Spotify!

I've just canceled my family plan and will not return as long as his **bleep** is online.

Make sure to reach out to support to voice your concerns. You won't be the only one. They are now ending the chats by saying they don't have anything to say at the moment as soon as you mention that podcast, which means they're experiencing user pressure.

"No issues with the account. I wanted to make sure a colleague from support is aware why people will be canceling their subscriptions. I like Spotify but I don't want to be an enabler to people like Andrew Tate. That is why I canceled my family subscription on Spotify and I will not be returning until I see his podcasts removed. As a support agent it is in your best interest to report this to your supervisor, as ultimately your job security is threatened by paying customers leaving the platform."

I too will be cancelling my subscription if this hateful garbage is not down by the end of the week. You're on notice, Spotify

The misogynist influencer Andrew Tate posts courses and feeds advocating violence and abuse of women. I believe that Spotify has a duty to its users to keep the app safe for all.

Please remove his activities.

In a recent murd3r trial currently being heard in UK, the prosecuting counsel said: Kyle Clifford looked up Andrew Tate's podcast the night before r@ping and murd3ring his ex-girlfriend and k1lling her sister and mother.

Prosecutor Alison Morgan KC said Louise Hunt's friends and family had already noticed "misogynistic traits" and seen him watching a Tate video

Cancelling my almost 20 year subscription. Joe Rogan's **bleep** was bad enough, but anyone with a conscience needs to boycott this service from now on.

It’s horrible that they allow this anti-human rights content.

If you get prompted to fill out a survey after visting the Spotify community or help pages, there is a comment section at the end where you can protest Andrew Tate's presence on the platform.  If he's not gone before my next billing cycle I'm cancelling my account.

@compobeachgirl88 Cancelling it BEFORE your next billing period might be more effective, because you can always resume it if they comply and you already cancelled it if they don't (the actual cancelation will happen on that billing date anyway).

The advantage of canceling now is that the cancelation intent is demonstrated.

Disgusted also that you're hosting this podcast celebrating the sexual exploitation of women. I'll be cancelling my account. Even if you remove it, it should never even had been considered in the first place.

I'm giving them a week to reverse their decision on this. If they don't I'll be cancelling my household's subscription and whenever Spotify comes up in a discussion I'll use it as a vehicle to discuss child **bleep** trafficking and how Spotify plays a part in normalizing it.

How can Spotify host content created by an individual who has been charged with **bleep** trafficking of young women and minors on an international scale? His podcast is teaching young men how to be abusers and that sexual and emotional abuse is fine if you have the financial background to avoid consequences.

Shame.

Will be boycotting and telling others to cancel their services.

You realize they already dropped it at least an hour before you posted, right?
