My Question or Issue

I use a Rain and Sleep Nature album to fall asleep. I set u a private session and play it from my Iphone connected to my Echo Alexa.  I still get loads of suggestions based on this and my discover weekly is ONLY filled with this kind of music and sounds. Is there a way that I can still use this album, but exclude all suggestions related?
I thought that by having a private session I would avoid all this, but is there another solution?

Hey @Danox,

Thanks for the post.

Currently the music you play on your Echo Dot or other Amazon Speakers is not affected by Private Session. So even if you have Private Session switched On on your phone, you'd get recommendations for songs listened on the Dot.

There is this Idea that you can add your +Vote to: [Amazon Echo][Other] Amazon Echo - Permanent private session. Even though the status is set to Closed the idea could be reactivated if it gather enough votes. You can check for similar ideas in the Ideas Exchange board so you can vote for them, or add your own idea so others can then vote for it and add to the conversation to show their support.

You can find the steps to submit a new idea in this Spotify Answer. You can also read more about how feedback on ideas reaches Spotify here.

You can also Hide songs from Discover weekly, so the algorithm will recommend less songs similar to the ones you've hidden.

Hope this info clears things up. Don't hesitate to reach out again if you have questions.
