My Question or Issue

I used to listen to a playlist a couple of years ago, and then out of nowhere it was unavailable. It still shows up, but it is greyed out. This is the playlist I am mentioning.

Before I got a message to show that I owned the tracks and, I do have the physical CD, but I don't know if they meant owning a copy or owning the rights to the music. How can I continue to listen to this playlist? Help please.

Thanks!

Hey there, @JoIG92,

Welcome to the Spotify Community!

Looks like the playlist is comprised of local files, which are only playable if they are stored on your device. Since you already own a copy of the CD, you can upload the songs to your PC / phone and then import them to your Spotify library by following the steps here.

If the songs in this playlist remain unplayable, what you can do is create your own instead and add the songs from your Local Files folder to it.

Hope this clears things up. Cheers 🤘
