Cannot change country in Live Events

I’m part of a Family Plan with payments done in Japan, but I’m currently based in the United States. I want to see recommended Live Events in the US, but nothing pops up for any US city (with message “No events found”). However, when I change the Live Events location to Japan, events show.

I suspect this is a bug. Could you please get Spotify to show recommended events anywhere?

Thanks for reaching out. These recommendations are based on the country of the account, so if you change the country to USA, the recommendations should be updated. Be advised though that for Premium accounts the country is defined by the payment method and you won't be able to use a Japanese Family plan if you switch.
