Coldplay Viva la Vida wrong year

Coldplay Viva la Vida wrong year

Viva La Vida or Death and all his friends is listed in Spotify as released in the year 2000. This should be the year 2008.

I hope you guys can change this,

Thanks,

Hello:

What is your listening region? I did a look up on that release, and there are four versions of this release available on the Spotify service to make available to as many listening regions as possible. The version here in the States that is available and is listed with the correct release year. Can you provide maybe a link to the release you have access to?

Or you can following the information in this post here: https://community.spotify.com/t5/Music-Chat/PLEASE-READ-Reporting-Incorrect-Track-Info/td-p/25291 to report the error in release year you are seeing.

Dear JayLB,
Here is the link. My listerning region is The Netherlands

I will also follow the link you gave in your reply,
Best,

Folllow up: can't find the proper contact form to report the error. The appropriate link sends my to a page is Swedish, and the link of 'feedback' sends me back to the community. I'm stuck in a loop and I will forget the matter further. If anyone else could find a way, he or she is welcome to try.

Best,

Gigantix

Opps, sorry about that here is the link for Netherlands: https://support.spotify.com/nl/contact-spotify-support/?contact

Just click on I want to report a broken song or wrong song information, the page then will give you a guide of how to get the track and album linking information. As you know how to do this skip that how to, and then click on the green I STILL NEED HELP button. Copy and paste the album link you posted here into the field that reads Song URI, and give a brief description in the Tell us more field of what is not correct. But I did it for you, but you can go through the process to so you can see how it works.

The web team changed the Spotify support page layout and format, and how to get to the right fields to input information, always click on the green button that reads I STILL NEED HELP, to get to the input fields for any give issue of Spotify support. Also whenever you get a URL that sends you to the wrong language Spotify support page, just replace in the URL the two region letter code for your own region two letter code which would be nl=Netherlands. For example https://support.spotify.com/se/contact-spotify-support/, replace se for nl in the URL and hit enter to get to the right Spotify support page in any given area for the correct language support.

Thanks, I was finally able to report the mistake and thanks for all the tips for future contact with Spotify.
Best,
