Daily Mixes on iOS no longer save!

Daily Mixes on iOS no longer save!

I used to be able to save a specific daily mix on my iPhone. If I liked a Daily Mix, I would tap on the three dot menu and tap “save to playlist”. It would then appear in my playlists as “Daily Mix: DD/MM/YY”. But that wonderful option has disappeared after many useful years!

Now if I “heart” and download the playlist, it only downloads for a day, then refreshes the next day to a whole new playlist. One day it was a playlist full of new hip hop that I was hoping to listen to again, the next day it became classical music and I can’t find the songs I was enjoying yesterday.

Please return the old feature again. I don’t mind that the Daily Mixes are dynamic, but I would like to take a “snapshot” of a particular day’s iteration for listening to later. It takes too long to save each track one by one to a new playlist. At the very least, allow me to check them off and add to a new playlist in bulk.

Hi SjdDjs,

Thanks for posting in the Spotify Community!

I recommend voting for this similar idea in the Ideas section of the Spotify Community, regarding allowing users to save “Made for You” playlists (such as Daily Mixes) as permanent playlists to their libraries. I also recommend adding your suggestions in the comments section. If enough users vote for this Idea, then Spotify may consider implementing it. You can also read more about how feedback on Ideas reaches Spotify, here.

I hope this helps, and let us know if you have any other questions.

Have a good day!
