Deleted playlists still showing up

Deleted playlists still showing up

I have a problem with two playlists I've deleted long ago. I created them for a road trip and didn't care much about them, deleting them soon after the trip. This was a couple of months ago. For some reason, however, they continue rearing their ugly head and greeting me on the Good Morning/Evening/etc. tab every single time I open Spotify on PC.

I have tried everything to resolve this, from logging out and doing clean reinstalls to restoring the playlists and then deleting them again. I have also tried ignoring the playlist suggestions and listening to music, simply waiting for the tab to be updated with more recent content. Over several months, I have listened to dozens of albums and hundreds of songs, but only other spots on the tab are being updated and these playlists seem fixed in their place. Curiously, this only happens on my computer (Windows 11), which I mainly use for listening. My Android phone is completely normal with a different Good Morning tab, while the desktop app and web browser player for PC both show the deleted playlists.

I have found threads discussing the same issue from several years ago and the problem there remains unresolved. Another forum has a similar inquiry and replies from upset users as recent as this week. This is something that a lot of people have been experiencing for years with no fix in sight. It is honestly driving me crazy to the point of considering abandoning Spotify altogether. These suggestions are simply useless and annoying to me, but some have it even worse as they are constantly being reminded of sad events and deceased loved ones they associate with some playlists.

With this in mind, I would be really grateful if this time the issue could be passed on for someone to finally try and fix it. If it cannot be fixed, I would appreciate at least giving users the choice of disabling the Good Morning tab. Anything, as long as it helps resolve this for good.
