Discover Weekly question

Discover Weekly question

When I found the Discover Weekly playlist I was so surprised and pleased by the result that I started saving the playlists to have a database of all previous weekly playlists. I am worried that this might cause issues with discover weekly because I'm not quite sure how it works.

Do your playlists or saved music affect which songs are picked for you? If so, saving my playlists will eventually dilute the Discover Weekly results and the playlists will be less and less on point, which is something that I think might already be happening after saving about 30 of them.

Is there a way to make sure that saving Discover Weekly Playlists wont affect future picks?

Hey @Ygdrad

Your playlists do not affect your Discover Weekly playlist.

Discover Weekly takes into account the music you have been listening to the prior week before updating. So just continue to listen to music like normal, and it will suggest music based on your tastes.
