My Question or Issue

It appears that my discover weekly is being influenced by a family plan member.
It's been a month or so that I've noticed my discover weekly is more relevant to my wife than me (who is on my Family Plan), and vice versa. Her discover weekly is more relevant to me.
It became particularly noticeable today in my Discover weekly when I started listening, to find many Polish artists. My wife is Polish. I do not listen to Polish songs because I don't speak Polish.

Any advice please?

Hi @ianhill1701, thanks for writing!

Each Spotify account is completely independent, even if you are in a Family Premium plan. I'd say your wife might be logged in your account using her device(s).

So I suggest you both log out on your devices, and then make sure both of your are logging in using the correct credentials, and let me know if it works!

Thank you for your response but I assure you we are both logged into our correct account on our devices.
Although I don't think this has happened, we will ensure we do not use each other's device to listen to music of the other's taste.
Unless you have something further to add, I'm happy to close the question. I just wanted to raise awareness.

Hey @ianhill1701,

Ok, if you're sure both of you are logged in the correct accounts, it doesn't make sense to get Polish songs in your Discovery Weekly. Let's wait until the next few Mondays to see this issue persists.

Thought I'd why my account may have been  'corrupted'.
My account is connected to Alexa and so every Alexa request for music was coming from my Spotify account.  As I have a Family subscription, I've created a new Spotify account, added that to my family and re-authorised Alexa with the new Spotify account.

Hey @ianhill1701, good idea.

I hope it works now! Let me know how it goes.
