Does my listening activity change immediately if i skip 40 seconds in manually?

If i have my friend activity on and I play a song and skip 40 seconds in, does that immediately show up as what im listening to to others? And if that's true, if I kept skipping to the 40 second mark then skipping the song and doing the same thing again would my friends see each song appearing and moving on to the next one really fast?

Thanks for the post.

The Friend activity doesn't update in real time. Depending on your networking speeds, it might take up to 24h to update. The Friend feed would show the last song you have played in full.

Note that skipping songs does influence your recommendations algorithm. You'd get less songs similar to ones you've skipped at some point.
