My Question or Issue

The band Kent released a Swedish and English version of the album Hagnesta Hill. Spotify has "Hagnesta Hill" and "Hagnesta Hill (English)", yet they're both the English version. Similarly, the same band released a Swedish and English version of the album Isola. Spotify has *two* copies of "Isola" and one "Isola (English)", yet they're all copies of the English version.

I'm a bit disappointed, since I'd like to actually hear the Swedish versions of these albums, and also confused, since they have the rest of the band's discography and it's just fine. It does not appear as if there is any other avenue for reporting what appears to be a glitch, so posting it here. Thanks for your patience in advance.

Hello how are you? Hope you and your family are doing well! Unfortunately Spotify does not control which songs and versions artists, publishers and record labels will make available on the platform. They must authorize the partner aggregator and/or distributor to make the music available on Sporify, otherwise it will not be available on the platform. A big hug and a great week!

I don't have any answers for you, but I feel your pain. And I can tell you the Swedish versions are on Spotify, because I can see them (grayed out) when I look at this playlist: https://open.spotify.com/playlist/37i9dQZF1DWYXFTaZHU0oB?si=fa1423baddb4402a.

As a listener in the US, I cannot click on them, so I assume it's some kind of licensing thing. But it's super annoying, because I can't access some of my favorite songs and am forced to play the mediocre English versions. I've gotten in the habit of just shouting the Swedish lyrics over the nonsensical English ones in the car, but of course that's less than ideal.
