Hi, my playlist is no longer the first hit when you search 'soca'. It has been for the last four yea

I have a public playlist ('Soca 2020') that has been very popular in the last four years or so

So much so, that when you searched for the genre 'soca', was not only the first hit, but was suggested by the predictive search.

Since the summer of 2019 it seems that a search no longer brings up my playlist in the first few hits, and someone will need to click 'see all playlists' to find it.

My playlist still has the most number of followers of any Soca music playlist. The playlists that appear in the first few hits have significantly less followers.

Would you be able to tell me why this is happening?

Would you be able to give me advice on how I could get my playlist back in the first few search results for the search terms 'soca' or 'soca 2020'?

Thank you so much for your help.

I'd love to also know how to get any playlist seen as one of the top or just followed. Been working on it for about a year now and i still haven't made any progress.... I spend alot of time trying to make sure they're are attractive too haha!

I'll give you a follow mate, Soca is hot! Love playing it when i DJ at my caribbean events.

Awesome man. Thanks! Glad to hear it!

I just searched up Soca on Spotify and did see that yours was the third result. My best guess is that the other two playlists ahead of yours received a huge amount of engagement in a short amount of time, thus making them more "hot" or "popular" based on recent impressions.

I'm not sure if there's anything that you can do about that other than wait. These things are all based on an algorithm and it's always adapting and changing. Maybe try analyzing the other playlists and see how you can top them?

Awesome, thanks. I appreciate you taking the time to look into this.
