How Do you decide what songs get added to spotify

I was wondering how you select what songs get added and which don’t because There are surtant songs that i want to listen to but when i search them they are not found does this mean that the song will never be added or that it is going to be added later

Hey @Jimmathan it's less of a choice, and more of a cooperative relationships between artists and Spotify. Hey there, Spotify wants people to enjoy an expanding library of over 30 million tracks but individual copyright decisions aren't theirs to make. Anything which Spotify has the right to upload and has been provided to us, should be available on Spotify.

If you do want to get certain tracks or albums added that aren't currently available in your region or on Spotify at all:

• Reach out to their page or label on social media or the artist's site!
• You can fill out this form to register your interest.
• In the meantime, you can import local files to your Spotify library.
• You can also add your vote to this active idea.
