I can't find a song on spotify. I can't import it either

Hello spotify community.

I have found a song on YouTube, which I would like to have on Spotify. But I can't find it. Neither can I import it. I have tried using Dropbox, but it dosent appear under "Local files"

I hope you can help. Maybe find the song on Spotify, which I haven't had any luck with. Here is a link to the YouTube song.

Hi, and welcome to the community!

Just to let you know, for Spotify to have music on their servers; they require the permissions from the record label. The chances are that the record label has not yet given the permissions from Spotify, which means that Spotify can't have the music available. Spotify make everything they have available to us and add over 10,000 songs a day; so hopefully it will be added soon!

As for importing; firstly, it's best to import from files on your HDD/SSD rather than cloud based storage; or at least make sure the file is available offline rather than the cloud software just effectively linking to the file.

Try dragging and dropping the song into a playlist on Spotify. If you go to Edit>Preferences in Spotify and scroll down a bit, you can see the local files settings and then select 'browse' to get Spotify to index the foler with the song in so that it will appear in the Local files tab.

Hi there to all... I am still new here and learning, however I enjoy Sportify as f... so far.

Just a quick question, I've tried dragging and dropping thing to the playlist,but it does not work, I would like to add some songs from the Demo/LP-Underground released that Linkin Park are letting out every year, so I wonder does it have any other solution so far or not at all ?

If you go into the search bar and write in keep up by Akon you will be able to find it. Hopefully you do 🙂 Ihave searched the song up through my account and I can assure you it is there.

Hey. I can't find a specific song on Spotify, despite it being by a popular artist. Do artists just not give the permission to specific songs sometimes?

My favorite song is explicit so I wanna add the clean version to my playlist to share with my family, but only the explicit version is available on Spotify. The clean version came out about a month or two after the explicit version so that might be why. Idk. It's called All Time Low from Jon Bellion. if there is a way to add it to Spotify, I would be very happy.
