My Question or Issue

Is is true Spotify ONLY runs on a 440 hz system. If so, why? So, even if a song or sound boats of have say 528hz, it's really only 440hz?

Hey @WandR778,

Thank you for reaching out to the Community and welcome.

The music quality in Spotify varies depending on the type of subscription and if you're listening from the app or the Web Player. You can see the detailed info here.

Also, we can confirm that Spotify currently does not support a sample rate higher than 24-bit/192kHz whereas this is the maximum available set up for 320kbps (the highest resolution on Spotify as of right now), as mentioned in the marked solution of this post.

Hope this helps. If anything else comes up, the Community will be here for you.
