My Question or Issue

I downloaded some songs to my computer and uploaded them to my Spotify account. I put them on my playlist and did all the steps to get them on my phone and they just wont transfer over to my phone playlist. Any fix for this?

Thanks for reaching out and welcome to the Community.

 

Can you confirm that both your PC and smartphone are on the same network? If that's the case, we recommend restarting your router or trying with a different connection, such as a mobile hotspot. If it works with another connection, it's best to contact the service provider of the original network for more information.

 

If it still doesn't work, it's a good idea to double check that Local audio files are enabled under  Settings  > Local Files on your iPhone. Keep in mind that only files in the supported formats and from official sources can be imported. You can find out more here. If these steps don't help, can you confirm that your files meet these requirements?

Are the downloaded songs in MP3 or M4P format? I remember Spotify only supports adding local music files in those two formats.

Also, you can download music from Spotify to MP3 format to enjoy your Spotify music on other music apps.
