Mac player won't connect or sync to other devices well.

I am using Spotify for Mac, and the app used to sync nicely with other devices. I would listen to a song on my laptop, pause it, pick up my phone, and resume where I left off. I could also cast it to other devices like my Google Home or Roku TV app.

Now my mac app works independently. Right now I am listening to one track on my mac app, but if I look at my phone it displays a song I listened to a couple days ago. Also if I click on "connect to a device" from the mac app - it shows nothing available. I can still connect to other devices from my phone. 

I restarted the app, didn't help. I have attached screenshots, both taken at the same time, on different devices.

Thank you for reaching out to the Community. Would you kindly try a clean reinstall of the App? Also, can you tell me what version you're using? If you are using an older version of Spotify, I would recommend you. updating your current Spotify version to the new version to ensure that everyone is on the same page.
