[Mobile][Playlists] Automatic Cleaner for Playlists

Solved!

[Mobile][Playlists] Automatic Cleaner for Playlists

I am so surprised I haven’t seen this idea floating around here yet! I think it would be very beneficial to have a button that operated like the enhance button on playlists to hide explicit songs. This would appeal to people with younger children in their life who don’t want them to hear expletives. It’s such a hassle to go through your main playlist and create a clean version of it, especially if it is 12 hours long. Spotify should supply a way for all to listen and at this time, I see no downsides to this!

Please let me know if you have an more ideas of how to make this a possibility or even if you have any questions! I’m super new to the Spotify community but so glad that I now know it exists.

Hey there @Maren_Kate,

Thanks for reaching out here in the Community, and welcome!

We moved your post from Ideas since it's already possible to skip explicit songs without creating a new playlist. Just make sure to follow these steps in order to disable explicit content from playing.

While this option is toggled off, any song that has been tagged as explicit will be grayed out and skipped.

Hope you find this info useful. If anything else comes up, the Community will be here.

Take care!
