My Question or Issue

Since some weeks ago, all the loudspeakers I use to play songs from Spotify "vibrate" (more like music + white noise) on plenty of songs.

When I say "all loudspeakers" I include:

- MacBook Air internal speakers

- Amazon Echo Dot

- Amazon Echo

- cabled over-the-ear and bluetooth in-ear headphones connected to the laptop

- Quite expensive bookshelf speakers.

I do no hear any vibrations/noise when I use the same loudspeakers and play music from youtube.

Has anyone else experienced this? Is Spotify streaming incredibly low quality songs?

Hey @lordthistle,

Thanks for reaching out & sorry to see you've been having issues with your audio output!
I'm thinking that this might be related to some of these settings:

Another thing to look at would be your Equalizer setting, which you can find when you scroll down; it's right under Playback:

I'd suggest playing around with these a bit to see if anything would make a difference 🙂
Hope this helps! We'll be on the lookout for your reply.

P.S. You can find out more about Spotify's audio quality here. Cheers!
