My Question or Issue

My distributor United masters has refused to give me any of the money paid out by spotify and every time I contact them they say that somehow listening to my own music is counted as fake streams even tho I've only ever played my songs a few times to show them to people and like I even have the ability or mental to stream my own music 836 thousand times in 3 months any way. I don't understand what happened or how they counted fake streams but spotify still payed out for my real streams about 1,086 dollars which was put into my united masters wallet and the day it was put into my account my account was disabled and they've refused to give me my money or let me cashout. I've also had two more notifications over the last few months that my wallet has been updated and presuming spotify had payed me for my other streams which they should have united masters hasn't even put that into my wallet on my account. They have told me to cancel my membership which I have not done yet because if I do that they keep 10% of my money after I've already paid $60 for their membership. I have no doubt I would've been well over 1 million streams by now if they didn't have problems. I was wondering if spotify has a way to retrieve the money given to united masters under my name (The Last Architect) and pay out to me directly instead so united masters isn't stealing from both of us. Also is there anyway you would recommend to get my music back up on spotify under the correct account since I can't and won't be using united masters again. Also if anyone reads this that isn't from spotify I'd highly recommend to steer clear of united masters if you blow up and if you're using it to change your distributor but if you're not having the same problems as me then keep going.

Hey @TheLastArchitect,

Sorry to hear this has happened to you.
