New User - When Do I get my Discover Weekly and Release Radar

My Question or Issue

I just subscribed to Spotify a few days ago and was wondering when do I get my Release Radar and Discover Weekly.  Those are some of the reason why I got Spotify again after a year and deleted account and I missed the Release Radar yesterday.  I hope I can get them soon.

Thanks for posting in the Community and welcome.

We'd like to add some insights here. Since you mentioned you're a new user, it may take some weeks for the app to get enough info from your listening habits and for the Discover Weekly playlist to show up and be recommended. It's the same for the Release Radar: since this is a playlist that contains all the latest songs from artists that you follow or listen to, the app needs enough info from your listening activity.

That being said, we suggest you make sure the Private Session is off so the algorithm can gather enough info about your most recent listening activity. Also, make sure you're listening to music not only from other recommended playlists like Daily Mixes, but also through the Search option. Please explore some new music and artists, and check back in the coming weeks to see if the playlists show up. Remember that you can find this playlist by going to search> Made for You section.
