My Question or Issue

So I had a little problem, when searching for songs I used to listen to on the radio or my dad's car when I was little (for reference, I'm an spanish millenial, so I'm talking La Movida spanish songs, basically...), I found a song which had the incorrect audio uploaded.

The song is "El ascensor" by Luz casal (https://open.spotify.com/track/3vYcRYTEuLNcFIfLJCsgce?si=NtVjo9LJTHq16EXqE7VmJQ) and the audio that was supposed to be was this one you can listen to in Youtube (https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=Xjl6SX2RQ4E) which, at the moment of this article being published, wasn't the one on the Spotify file...

I tried to look for a way to notify it to the Spotify team, but there wasn't any way in which you could actually issue a warning/notification about the song and title not matching, which I think would be a good feature to add to ease the proccess of warning such a thing happenning for Spotify users...

So, while a feature to inform about a title and the audio file not matching, or about the audio file being the incorrect one, is not included, what did I do?

I made use of the support centre (which you should be able to access through this link: https://support.spotify.com/es-gl/contact-spotify-support/?nosignup=true&flow_ctx=a73a7b8d-9799-48a7... ) and notified it first to a bot, then to the human operator I was promptly redirected to.

I am very satisfied with the Customer service I got during this proccess, and now I'm waiting to see how long it takes for the matter of this song to be solved, so that I can post here the results and, hopefully, share a working method to deal with this kind of issues while a proper inbuilt mechanism is activated on the App amd webpage.

Hi @Tomás94,

Thanks for reaching out. "Denouncing" is a bit of a strong word to use for this kind of thing, but reporting errors with content is of course a possibility. Our colleagues from the support team have surely forwarded your report, but for future reference, follow the steps provided here to check for and report issues with content such as incorrect titles or corrupted audio.

Hope this clears things up.
