Posted a song to spotify using tunecore and it's under the wrong artist page

Hey friends,

I recently used tunecore to upload a track to all major music stores. The track is now up on spotify but I notice that instead of appearing under my normal artist page with my other music, it is appearing on a newly created empty artist page (with the exact same name). I would love to change this and have my track appear on my normal page!!!

I believe you just have to contact Tunecore and they will fix it for you!

That's so annoying! Contact Tunecore and see what they say. It may have to be resolved by Spotify...

I contact both tunecore and spotify but ultimately i think spotify ended up fixing it (after about a week). There is a contact portal through which you can submit your inquiry.

Please help. Some other artist with same name, his tracks are reflecting in my artist page and its affecting my work. I am going to be signed for an festival and my work is being cross checked and this meta data error is affecting it.

Try reaching out to spotify and/or your distribution service! I know that distrokid has a feature on their platform where you can submit inquiries to spotify directly related to incorrect placement of songs on pages etc. I think overall it is spotify that fixes these issues.

Mine is Tunecore i mailed both tunecore and spotify but no one reverted me back. Nor any updates from them.
