Hi,
I used to have between 100-200 tracks every friday on release radar, this week I only got 30.
It seems it's the 'default' number when you don't follow lots of artists (which is not my case, I follow almost 2000 artists)
How can I get back to getting all the new releases ?
Thank you !
Hi there folks,
Thanks for all the replies. We've done some investigating on our end and can confirm that Release Radar is supposed to be 30 tracks and that is its usual intended length. If you have or had more songs, we can conclude that this has probably been some sort of intermittent temporary behavior or the list has been influenced by some external factors. We understand that you may prefer a longer Release Radar, so we'll definitely take note of the feedback you've given us in this thread and send it over to the right people.
Hope this clears things up.
Complained on Reddit about the same issue. I relied heavily on a large and up to date list to stay on top of new releases. I follow thousands of artists. This playlist is a major highlight of my week. I really hope this isn't an intentional and permanent change.
Same :((
Happened to me as well when checking Release Radar today, last Friday it still had the usual 200 tracks. All classical music is missing now which was a large part of it.
This happened to me as well.
Just checked, they seem to be back, so if somebody fixed something, thank you!
Having the same problem. And it seems my list is getting shorter and randomly change my downloaded release radar to tracks not downloaded.
same here, please fix.
seems like a bug in the app because if you try the web browser player, you will see 200 songs there.
Right, the web player still has 200 tracks from last Friday, but the desktop app Spotify for Windows (64 bit)
1.2.42.290 only has 30 tracks from that old playlist, it seems.
This is happening to me too. u/agenthrk is right though, in the web browser player I have 200 songs. Something is wrong Spotify, PLEASE FIX , it's been a week for me.
same issue for me, the full list is only appearing in the web player.
Spotify please address this, as I have stated several times around the internet this playlist is the only reason I still have a subscription.
This is a huge problem Spotify, especially for your subscribers, so perhaps one of us should get in contact with a member of the Tech Press and have somebody like The Verge and C-NET give wide coverage to the issue and why you ignore your paying customers.

My Question or Issue
Starting from last week, my release radar playlist stopped showing all new releases from the artists I follow. When I go to what’s new section I find all the missing new releases
I forgot to mention that the app is up to date & I tried logging out several times with no success
Its honestly embarrassing. Why am I paying for this service if the only thing they provide is a very slow cloud. Like there is no user friendly interface or any useful advantages that come with Spotify. The Release Radar is literally the bare minimum they could do and its not even consistent.
you guys should try Burner to handle your release radar, that’s what i’ve had to switch to
All well and good, but the core applications - desktop and phone - should work as expected without having to go to 3rd parties.
Also restricted to 30 songs. I usually have 200 with about half of them being this week's releases. Feeling lost.

Release Radar - only 30 tracks max - The Spotify Community
Currently the web player still shows 200 tracks also for the new playlist from today.
