Remove song from playlist

I know how to remove a song from a playlist, but I am curious is there a way or will there be a way to remove a song on the fly? For example I created my playlists sometime ago so ocassionaly a song will play that I am just not a fan of anymore.. I'd like to have an option to remove it right there as of now there are several options where you can add it to a playlist (even when playing that playlist) you can go to the artist, album, etc so it seems it would not be too difficult to have a selection to remove too..

Do you mean other than just clicking the three dots next to the song in the playlist and removing it?

Are you doing this on the desktop app or a phone? 🙂

I am doing this from my phone, when playing the playlist if you click the three dots there is no option to remove song..

Ahhh gotcha. While looking at the playlist on your phone tap the three dots in the top right corner, select edit and you can just click on the red - button next to the songs you want to remove.

Yes I know you can do it that way, but not when you are actually listening to a playlist.... I did find a work around, but I am sure Spotify can make it easier??

When you are playing a playlist in the top right corner of screen there are 3 bars, the top bar is thicker. If you click that you'll see your song cue. The songs have circles next to them, but only the songs that are upcoming. If the song playing is one that you want to remove hit the back button twice, then the current song will move down it will then have a circle and it can be removed..

There has to be an easier way!!
