Scorpions Pure Instinct

Good day,

I am a big Scorpions fan and I have noticed that their album Pure Instinct is not available on Spotify. I feel that this is an exceptional album and after checking for other posts about this issue I have decided to post about it myself. Is there some reason for this exclusion or is there a way to make this album available on Spotify.

The availability of music on Spotify is up to the artist and their music label.

Hello @MattSuda,

I undertand that some artists have not given permission to Spotify to use their music. I have read that web page before. The reason I am posting this question is because every other album from the Scorpions is available on Spotify except of course the album in question. It would be strange to allow every single album except for one.

I hope there is some way that this album can be released on Spotify or a more specific reason is given as to why only one particular album is missing. I have seen some posts similar to this one regarding missing albums and many times the album was added to Spotify after the query.

Unfortunately, there is no way to really know for sure why an album is not available on Spotify unless fans ask the artist why.

There are many artists that allow their music on Spotify, but some albums are not available. Some artists will keep some of their albums off Spotify by choice such as Adele. Also, some artists might have more than one record label / owner for certain releases. It could be that the specific album has a different record label and they do not want it on Spotify.

Just a guess, but I would say it's because "Pure Instinct" was on a different record label.

I think every artists solo or bands even rap groups should have all of their albums on Spotify and Itunes library
