As you can clearly see in the screenshot, someone or probably a bot keeps falsely reporting my playlist for no reason which is so annoying, I really can’t name the playlist or replace its photo without receiving a removal notice. ( Spotify answers immediately to the false reports and it takes down the playlist’s cover, title as well as the description )
I have all the royalty rights of the cover, the title is just “ Best songs of 2021 “ which doesn’t violate any guideline. I tried to contact Spotify multiple times, they answer with the same email “ ... We can confirm that we are internally looking into how to prevent it from happening. We can't say if or when these changes will be implemented, but we are aware of how it's affecting users like you, and are doing everything we can. “
The issue is so annoying, I don’t know why Spotify didn’t fix it for years. It’s weird that I receive a removal notice as soon as I rename the playlist which is automatic, that’s why I said probably it’s a bot. I also tried to change the playlist name and cover with new ones, but the same problem persists.

Sadly, you're not alone. See this thread https://community.spotify.com/t5/Live-Ideas/Playlists-Solution-to-false-abusive-reporting/idc-p/5229...
This is also happening to me 5 of my playlists are false reported by bots. And i am afraid these days coming they will report more of my playlists since they are targetting me. Everytime i update the playlist these bots will report it after 5 minutes everytime. I tried it hundred times so i am sure. The are targeting my most like playlists. I am so sad and stressed because I have curated that playlist with all my heart and I am sure my more than 100K playlists followers are looking for it and cant find them anymore.
Spotify please find a permanent fix. I know you have talented IT experts to solve this.
Your playlist curators deserves no harrassment from these bots.
Hi @Orieland,
Thanks for the post!
We'd recommend reaching out to the Customer Support team, as @CarlosE has suggested above, with as much info as possible. This will help the investigation greatly 🙂
Cheers.
Has this been resolved? I've been targeted lateley too...

My Question or Issue
After so many days of peace, spotify is back at it again... I'm just really tired of this take down notice... There is NOTHING wrong with my playlist, there is no curse words, nothing explicit, nothing. And yet I'm here again complaining about something you seem to never fix... How long will we have to stand this??? Please do something, help!!!
They know and they don't care that's the problem 🙂
I'm starting to think that they may even be behind of some of these claims since the complete lack of interest in solving a problem that has more than 2 years 😄

I have a playlist: https://open.spotify.com/playlist/22fOcPkJZ4xngAuOep1oqI?si=fec8bcdb00014226
The title of this playlist should be "1970s/80s Easy Listening", and the description should be, "A carefully curated selection of easy listening hits from the 1970s and early 1980s, the golden age of soft rock."
My playlist has 9000+ "likes", and unless you irrationally hate soft rock, it's about as unoffensive as it gets. Yet, every so often, Spotify deletes the playlist's title and description. Not the playlist itself, that is fine (so far). But the title and description are wiped out and I have to re-enter them - I have them memorized by now.
When this happens, I usually get an e-mail notification. Today's read:
From: Policy Report Notification
Subject: Takedown Notification
We have found the following content to be in violation of our content policies, and we have removed it. Please see our Spotify Terms and Conditions of Use for more information. spotify:playlist:22fOcPkJZ4xngAuOep1oqI
I find this whole situation absurd. Many months ago I created a support ticket, and although I never heard an actual response, the issue did seem to clear up and my playlist was left intact for about the last 6-8 months or so. But for the last 2 weeks, it's been happening again daily, and it's beyond frustrating. I assume there's some Spotify bot or algorithm that's doing this, but WHY? All the content is Spotify's; how can their own content be in violation of their content policies? The songs and album art are all from Spotify, my only contribution besides collecting them into a playlist is adding a title and description, which mysteriously keep getting deleted.
This is one of my favorite playlists - that's why I made it - and I'm happy that it coincidentally makes a lot of other people happy - it's my only playlist that has so many likes! So, it's pretty distressing that it seems to be in constant danger. I'd be supremely angry if it were ever deleted entirely, and I hope it never happens. Anyway, what the heck is going on? What do I need to do to ensure this doesn't happen any more? I like the title and description just the way they are, and there should be nothing wrong with them. Thanks for any help.
Keeps happening to me too now. It’s my only playlist with any likes. The automated customer service bot told me to just make it private, which is ridiculous.
Hey there!
Could you log out of the app and back in twice in a row?
This should manually refresh all your settings!
And, in case this doesn't help, could you let us know what the type of the playlist is?
Is it a personal playlist of yours or a different kind; e.g. a collaborative one?
Let us know how it goes and we'll take it from there!
P.S. As a workaround, from the desktop app, you can try copying the playlist tracks with Ctrl + A & Ctrl + C and pasting them (Ctrl + V) in a new playlist.
In case this is an issue with exactly that one playlist of yours for some reason, this should help you out.
Cheers!
How is this supposed to help if other people are falsely reporting playlists? When will the automatic take down of playlist titles, covers and descriptions be changed to manual review? Right now people are just doing it so they can drive more traffic to their playlists which is a disgusting misuse of the report feature, and it looks like spotify has been sitting on their hands for three years.
I have just started getting these false reports today every 30 mins! SO ANNOYING. Reading up about this it's shameful this has been an issue on Spotify for years and they just don't care about sorting it! Is it really too much to ask to make it manual reviews of reports?!
I've had the same problems for more than two years. One of my playlists has 30,000 followers. Without these "playlist mafia attacks" it would be 50,000. In the last few weeks I have received up to 5 notifications a day for a playlist. Whenever it's online (title + picture), it's down again an hour later. Obviously a bot. Of course Spotify has other problems. But they could just accept the complaints from premium accounts. That would stop the bot attacks and make the false claims related to the creator visible.
Hey there you, Yeah, you! 😁 Welcome - we're glad you joined the Spotify Community! While you here, let's have a fun game and get…
