Hey there! Thanks for reaching out to the community. 🎵

To help me troubleshoot this issue, could you please try checking the same songs on a different platform like the mobile app or web player? This will help determining if the problem is specific to a certain platform or if the content is unavailable across the board.

If you're unable to play the songs on any platform, it might be due to content availability restrictions. This can happen for various reasons, such as licensing agreements or copyright issues. Unfortunately, streaming platforms often have limited control over these situations.

Rest assured, once the content becomes available again, you'll be able to find it in the app just like before.

To know more, you can read this article: Missing Music or Podcasts.

I hope that sheds some light on the matter. Feel free to reach out if you have any other questions. 🙂

Here is my response via email:
Hi Amayy,
As seen in this screenshot from the android app, the songs simply do not appear in this playlist.

Can you check to see if Spotify has a licensing, copyright, or region issue with the songs shown here?

Hi Jayson,

We understand that you're having issues with your playlist. No worries, help is here.

Clearing the app data should resolve the issue. Could you try these troubleshooting steps if you haven't?

• Log out and back in.
• Update operating systems and Spotify versions to the latest releases.
• Restart device.
• Reinstall the app.
• Try a different device.
• Try a different browser
• Try incognito or private window
• Clear the app data (Note: Clearing the cache within the app won’t work.)

Additionally, if the issue persist. Let us know and provide the screenshot of the issue.

Hope this sorts things out on your end. If you still need further help, just tap us back. We're always here for you.

Aldrin

My response to this absurdity:
Why have you ignored my request for you to check your end to see if the songs are available? I've already stated I've done things you are suggesting, but you won't do the one thing I ask.
I tried logging out and in, didn't help.
My operating systems automatically update regularly, as does Spotify so this cannot be the issue.
Devices have to be restarted after an operating system update, so this is pointless when the previous point has been mentioned.
I will try reinstalling.
As stated and shown in previous screenshots I have tried multiple devices.
A different browser? I am using the applications not a browser, as shown in the screenshots.
What is incognito or private window of the application? I think you are incorrectly assuming that my use of the application is a browser....
How do I clear the app data on Windows 10? I did that on my android.

I have let you know the issue persists, you do not do the one thing I ask and instead ask me to do some things, ask me to do pointless things that are included in your other steps, and suppose that I am using a web browser when I've stated and shown you that I am using the applications.
Aldrin, please pay attention to the content of the ticket!

Then an answer, which is what was suggested at the beginning, and my suspicion:
Hi again,

Thanks for writing back. We appreciate your efforts and patience regarding this matter. It is not our intention to make this difficult in any way.

We've check every song on the screenshot you posted in Spotify Community:
  1. Use somebody by Gutter Grinders
  2. Don't Speak  by Leida Taylor
  3. Everlong by Distorted Resonance
  4. Island In the Sun by Jet Fuel & Ginger Ales
  5. The Reason by The Grunge Growlers
For now, all the songs mentioned above are not available due to market restrictions.

We hope that clarifies everything. If you need a hand with anything else, let us know.

Until then,

Amayy could have also solved by investigating what her suggestion was. Turns out she was right, could have saved me time and effort, and not have 2 other agents chip in by simply looking at what she suggested the problem is.
