Spotify Promoting Concerts for Dead Artists

Hey guys!

I got an email from Spotify today recommending concerts in my area. They were promoting a concert on Nov 19 in DC for Mac Miller that passed away recently. I usually like these emails and I think they give great value for me as a consumer and the artist as well. 

However, I find it very disturbing to get recommendations for artist that have passed away and I expect Spotify to know better of what they are sending to the listeners. Have anyone experienced the same? Am I overreacting? I don’t know.

My point is that it’s disrespectful and these emails should be checked better.

Wow I didn't even realise they were doing that. That's really out of pocket and distasteful. Sounds like his label forgot to turn off their Big Brother marketing machine or something
