Spotify does not censor music. We make music available in whatever form it’s given to us.

Often, albums are released in “explicit” and “clean” versions. Only one will be immediately visible.
To see all versions:

  1. Click the album title on the artist or search page.
  2. Click the drop-down menu at the bottom for other releases.
  3. Select the other version and you'll be taken to it.

In rare cases, an error or a change in licensing agreements may have occured making the explicit version unavailable. The tracks may be re-linked to the "clean" version temporarily while we fix things.

I mean yeah, I have ON the explicit content, but it keeps muting some words like the F, N and S word that is killing the song. Why can't we just hear every single word of the song if we have activated the EXPLICIT content.

Need my Drake **bleep** And Millions back.

I am having the same issue and there is not a second E release for my songs. So how do I fix this issue?

Hey folks,

In that case the songs might have been mixed up during the upload. You can report the error to our Content team by following the steps here - they'll look into it.

The Community is just a post away if there's anything else you need assistance with.

Im having this issue too and mine keeps automatically swapping back to the clean version even after i switch it

I’m having the same problem too… some albums that I have saved have the original songs. Everything else is clean and I cannot find a setting to change it… it’s filtering music when I don’t want it to. How can this be fixed?
