My Question or Issue
The number of streams on my songs and the number of monthly listeners I have do not match in the Spotify app what they actually are according to Spotify for artists. For royalties purposes, this is very concerning, since songs with less than 1000 plays do not get royalties. I have a song with well over 1000 plays but the app is showing < 1000 plays. I also have twice the number of monthly listeners than what shows up in the Spotify app according to Spotify for artists. Why is there a discrepancy?

My Question or Issue
i have screenshots to validate this, but since march 9 my streams have not been tracking consistently. on march 9th, 11th, 13th, 16th, 17th, and 18th, there are no streams. in march 14th streams were logged but every other day there was no more than 10 streams. i’ve cleared my cache, deleted and reinstalled the app, etc., not sure what to do
it seems my thread has been moved by mistake. spotify is not tracking my listening history not my streams as an artist
Hey @scoutbrown,
Thanks for letting us know and apologies for the misunderstanding!
Could you tell us where you're tracking your listening history? I'm curious about what you're seeing on the 'Recently Played' queue tab on desktop and if it's not matching what you're seeing on the 'Recents' shelf on the mobile app's home tab.
What I'd advise if they don't match is to first log out of the app on the device that is not synching and then log back in twice in a row. This will trigger a manual sync of your settings and data. If that doesn't do the trick, see if using a different internet connection will make a difference. In case the issue remains and is unaffected by a network change, you can also try going for a complete clean reinstall of the app as shown here to ensure there are no corrupted leftover files prior to the new installation.
If this doesn't help out, we'd like to ask you to send us some screenshots of what you're seeing on your end and we'll do our best to figure out what else we can do from there 🙂
Many thanks! Keep us posted on how things go 🙌🏼

My Question or Issue
Yesterday when I checked my Spotify for artists, between 18:30-20.00 UTC, the number went up rapidly and the total live streaming numer was over 2000 plays and counting. I could see that around 10-20 people were listening live. This morning when the site should have been updated, this was not reflected in the all time streams. I guess this is a bug?
As a side note, the real time live stream (7 days) data expired today.
