Hi

I've been using Spotify for a while but don't really know how the "streaming" works

I mean if I want to help an artist by streaming, how does it really work?

Can I just make a playlist with my favourite songs and listen to only that playlist all day long and everything will be counted? Every time the song is played over 30 second it will be counted? even if its on loop? Won't I be considered a bot if I keep on listening to the same song for days, even weeks

Can someone please help me.

The Spotify app is designed to let you choose different playback options when listening to your favorite music. This also includes listening to playlists on repeat in case this fits your listening habits. 

This is also a great way to support a favorite artist by listening to their tracks for as long as you wish. Each time you listen to a track for more than 30 seconds it gets counted regardless of how many times you've played the track. More info on how we count streams can be found here.
