The Smiths - 'remastered' tags

Hello,

Is it possible to remove the 'remastered version' tags applied to each and every one song from The Smiths' albums? I know it's a minor and cosmetic issue but it's really annoying when you scrobble these little monsters on last.fm.

hi @zdjuna, my guess is that spotify has no control over that.  if i look up the album The Smiths - Complete on amazon or rhapsody, it says "remastered" on there too.  My guess is that the artists are the ones who control the name of the song and they are choosing to use the words "Remastered".  people complained about this with the Beatles releases too.  

That's just my guess, but i suspect there is nothing spotify can do about it.
