Too much Ads

Too much Ads

  • Recently spotify has been poping up too many ads for a free user. I understand that spotify needs ads to earn revenue and get conversions but Spotify is supposed to be a free music streaming service, not an ads streaming service. Even the ad that gave 30 minutes of ad free music is not poping up now. So am i now supposed to listen to ads more than music if i am a free user ?? Such aggressive targeting to get more premium users might help in the short run. But in long run, this will cost spotify to lose more free users than gaining more premium ones. Since 3-4 days now, i am constantly annoyed by very very frequent ads. Please look into this matter with serious consent.

Would you mind letting us know your device's make, model, OS version and Spotify version?

 

If possible, could you let us know if you're able to see the ad that offers 30 minutes of ad-free music when you log into your account using a different device?

Device: Redmi Note 4

OS Ver: 7.0 (Nougat)

Spotify Ver: 8.5.98.984

 

All day today i was listening to music on my laptop also, there also the 30 min ad free music ad didn't appear even for a single time.

 

Hope it helps debugging the issue.
