Two region locked songs in a week

My Question or Issue

I have had two songs from separate artists become region locked in the span of a week while people i have asked nearby to find the song can play it. I've double checked my location, I've tried reinstalling on all devices. I don't use a VPN.

I do not believe these songs are actually region locked and would appreciate some assistance as to why I can't play them.

Songs in question are Otonoke by Will Stetson and Getcha! by halO x Zentreya.

We had a look around for the songs you mentioned, and it seems like they might be unavailable at the moment. Availability can vary both over time and between regions, depending on agreements between Spotify and rights holders, such as artists or record labels. We add new content to Spotify every day, however, so if you can’t find something you’re looking for right now, it may appear (or reappear) soon.

As you mention that people around you are able to play the songs, you can also check with them if their accounts are registered in the exact same region/country as yours, if you'd like. Should that be the case and they're still able to play those specific tracks, you can ask them to send you a link to the songs in question, to see how they appear for you. Feel free to send the link(s) to us as well, should you have any further questions.
