Hi there @dimmah,

Thanks for reaching out. Could you please provide us the following:

  • Is this on all devices or only on specific one(s)?
  • When did this start happening?
  • Could you send us the link to the song in question so we can take a look at it?
  • Screenshots of the exact error/behaviour you see when trying to access it. If the files are too large to attach here in the Community, you can send them to us via Google Drive or as unlisted YouTube videos.

With this information, we’d be happy to investigate.

Keep us posted.

Heres the song: https://open.spotify.com/track/6KYOlIwDHbrbeBbJEtQ0Fj?si=04d0c9d8a425459a

This is what it says when i try to play it, but otherwise its grayed out like you would see with local file songs when you view it from another device, but this isnt a local file song.

Thanks for the link @dimmah!

We tested from our end and we were able to play the song. If your friends can also play it, then it looks like there may be an issue with the specific device that you're using.

If you've not already done this I recommend giving Spotify a clean reinstall with the steps here which also include clearing the cache. When it's corrupted it can cause different performance issues.

Let us know if this changes anything and it'd be great if you could confirm in case you experience the same behavior when logging in to your account on another device.

Hope to hear from you soon 🙂
