Updated Mac App and Lyrics Disappeared

Updated Mac App and Lyrics Disappeared

Device: Macbook Air 2018

 

My Question or Issue:

 

I just updated the app and now the lyrics feature has disappeared. It still works on my phone but not on my laptop. How can I get this feature back?

Thanks for reaching out to the Community.
 
This is quite odd, can you let us know if you've already tried to log out > restart your device > log back in? It's also a good idea to tryclearing your cache to remove any old files that might be causing issues.
 

Some other things to check would be:

  • Do you have your desktop app in Offline mode? Lyrics are only available online
  • Do you see them on our web player?

 
If that doesn't do it for you, could you let us your Spotify version. We'll be on the lookout for your answer and we'll see what we can suggest next.
