What is the best way to sample artists?

Help? ...

There are artists (who have songs) I like and I'd like to find more songs I like.

But how?

I could:

1) Create my own radio station adding all artists I'd like and perhaps choose from a simple list of settings for each artist to 'select songs by popularity' or 'select random songs' ... but creating my own radio station does not exist.

2) Find playlists others have created that either feature some of my artists, or songs I've added to the my library ... but that does not exist.

3) Create a new playlist and select the songs I'd like to add to it ... which DOES exist ... but DOES NOT have practical possibility as it's a Catch-22.

4) I could follow the suggestion made for another question I posted (what genre are these artists in) and be returned a 'good news!' answer I only need take a look at the Every Noise at Once cloud cloud-map? ... to find more similar artists.

This list is over three-thousand genres ... but wait there's more good news! ... it changes every day so check frequently for the updates!

However... to be quite fair ... the text on the Spotify About page says:

The About text does *NOT* imply to me the features I'm looking for are available so either I am missing the forrest for the trees or I need some off-site empowerment to make the most of Spotify.

one thing i do to find new music that is similar to songs or artists i like is by making a playlist and scrolling to the bottom of the playlist and there are songs you can add 🙂

How does one configure Discover Weekly? 
It's giving me 100% rocks songs, most I already know.
Why can't I simply choose some genres and you give me some new suggestions.
