Where is my Cigarettes and Coffee?

Where is my Cigarettes and Coffee?

I was listening to "This is Otis Redding" playlist and one of my favourite songs has been removed.

My question is:

Why has the song "Cigarettes and Coffee" by Otis Redding been removed?

is it a licencing problem?

Why is it only the one song?

I hope its not because it has a "cigarette" reference to it because if it is, I am going to cancel all subscriptions and live off the grid...damn you cancel culture.

Hope someone can give me an answer.

Thanks.

Hi! I noticed that the song is actually still present on the "This is Otis Redding" playlist. Maybe this was just a (hopefully temporary) display issue, not an act of censorship on Spotify's part.

Hi @S34nofdaD34d,

Thanks for reaching out about this here in the Community.

We want all the world’s music and podcasts on Spotify, but availability can vary over time and between countries, depending on the permissions from rights holders.

We add new content to Spotify every day, so if you can’t find something you’re looking for right now, it may appear (or reappear) soon.
