Seriously tho'
Where is it? Because this 2016 Wrapped business isn't going to cut it. I have 0 interest in what the masses are listening to, the masses are in part how we got a seemingly clueless president-elect in the USA.
Can someone from Spotify confirm the eventual release of this subscriber favorite and highly anticipated feature? Or is this what we're getting and we're just not going to talk about the thing that people actually wanted?
Hey there:
If you go to BROWSE ---> OVERVIEW is there a playlist sitting there called Your Top Songs 2016? You might also find this playlist under BROWSE ---> GENRES & MOODS ---> 2016 WRAPPED ---? There is a Your Top Tracks of 2016 there just at the top of all the other Top track playlists there, the playlist is a banner just above all the other Top playlists for 2016, make sure to follow the playlist when you see it. The Playlist is titled Your Top Songs 2016.
I was able to retrieve the playlist for 'Your Top Songs in 2016' but missed out on the email with statistics on listening, top songs etc. Is there anyway to receive this?
I have the same problem.
Really bummed. I was looking forward to a really cool new website with lots of different stats, but seems like it's really simple. Would've been really cool if they did it again like last year.
I can't watch it myself, because (apparently) I haven't turned on my email notifications. I thought I had tho, so that sucks. So there isn't a way for me to see my Year In Music? 😞 Want to know if there's a way for me to still see my stats, even though I haven't got a mail..
It seems they don't plan on giving us an in-depth look at this year's listening habits on a personal level. If it is their intent to pass off this Your Top Songs of 2016 playlist as a replacement then I have to say I would be extremely disappointed. It was a truly unique feature that I had looked forward to the least Spotify could do is let us know why they decided to go in a different direction.
@JayLB
While I appreciate your reply I was looking for more than a playlist. I want the same in-depth overview we had received over that past two years.
Jay - I did this earlier (Genres & Moods > Wrapped 2016 > My List) and My List for 2016 was listed, but then i received a message in the app (desktop) that said a new versions of Spotify was ready for me, restart the app. So I restarted the app, and now my 2016 Wrapped List is no longer present or visible. Where did it go?
You can disregard - it showed back up.
Will anything else be provided besides the playlist and email?
It's a huge step down from the bar Spotify set over the last two years, not sure why you would do that.
Hey there you, Yeah, you! 😁 Welcome - we're glad you joined the Spotify Community! While you here, let's have a fun game and get…
