Why are some songs grey and I can’t add the to a playlist?

Billie Elish’s song Birds of a Feather and that entire album along with Lady Gaga ft Bruno Mars Die with a Smile song is grey and I can’t add them to playlists? Why? I’m based in Los Angeles, these songs should work fine.

Both albums should indeed be available in your region so this might turn out to be a cache issue. Can you please try reinstalling the app as described here and check if it works on a different device/the web player? If the issue persists, try using a different internet connection.

Hi there! thank you for your help. Apologies for it taking awhile to respond. I have reinstalled the app probably 10 times and reset my phone. I've triple checked and i have no vpn running, and i have deleted my cached from Spotify and still no luck 😞 It does the same thing whether on Wifi or cellular. Luckily on my desktop it seems to work okay, but i usually only play spotify on my phone. It sucks because i cant add any of these songs to a playlist. Any more suggestions would be appreciated. Here is a photo showing what i'm seeing. I am only seeing this on Billie Eilish's new songs and the Gaga Bruno Mars new song.

Hello! I just figured it out. Wow. I take breaks from certain artists, and I guess for Billie and Gaga, I had them on the "don't play this artist" setting. The minute I removed it, the songs worked... BUT oddly I don't know why it wouldn't do the same on my desktop then. And I have been able to play all the other Billie Eilish albums and Gaga's, so not sure why only their new work wouold grey out. Nonetheless, the problem is solved! Thank you for your time! 🙂
