Why did my favourite song suddenly become unavailable?

A while ago I noticed in my playlist that the song "analogue" by a-ha was greyed out, and has stayed like that ever since, and it has now probably been over a year and it's still not playable, and I was wondering why this happened?

Often songs will go missing on Spotify because of disputes with artists, publishers, or labels. There is little anyone can do on the Spotify Community to bring these songs back.

A familiar situation. Bravo by Jerusha, for example, keeps greying out and coming back online. I guess there are geographical restrictions too – about which we could barely know anything. For example, Good Enough by Aayla became unavailable after a while when I was in Finland, but when I returned to Hungary it became available again.
