Why isnt the community implemented into the app itself?

why isnt this community implemengted straight into the app itself to make Spotifty Even more social friendly? i see that its connected to spotify already but why have the seperate website or just something it the toolbar? Hidden away where normal users will never find it. How can we make spotify more social friendly and less of a itunes?

Great point.

There is a link to the community in the desktop app.

I think Spotify's main goal with the apps is to focus on the product. The Spotify Community is a website, so just implementing an iframe of the website into the desktop app would be pretty pointless I think.

Instead of implementing the community into the app, maybe they could add more social features into the app.

Yes agreed that more social features should be implemented into the desktop app at the very least to make more of a community out of spotify (a very large community) #PrestigeWorldwide
