My Question or Issue

Recently, I have discovered that the album "Easy Come, Easy Go" by Carroll Gibbons, has a wrong release date. The album only has songs from the 1930s, but the date is set to 2011. This becomes a problem, because when I listen to the "2010s - music" mix that is personally made for me, songs from this album pops up.

Hi @Jantabass, thanks for writing.

This happens because some artists (or their music rights holder) consider the release date of an album as the re-issue release date, and not the original one.

Anyway, you can report incorrect content through the link bellow:

It’d be awesome if the release dates for all music was correct. A lot say 1st January 19XX or 20XX but it was released for example 7th March 2014. Then some artists upload music, the release date may have been 1993 but it says 2018 (likely when they uploaded it).
Most releases can be easily cross referenced against Wikipedia, a simple script could be written to make the corrections.

Hard agree with this -- it's annoying to have to double check every time I want to make a year-based playlist
