Does spotify still put adverts in podcasts?

Spotify doesn’t play ads that interrupt the music listening experience, however, some podcasts may include advertising, host-read endorsements, or sponsorship messages. There’s more info about this here.

No it doesn't really help I've read that. I left spotify when Joe Rogan joined and Spotify was definitely inserting the adverts as the title playing would change and the tracker would go to the length of the advert. Spotify is intentionally vague which gives a bad vibe.
