My Question or Issue

I'm unable to play:

Thanks for reaching out here in the Community, and welcome. 

We'd love to have all the world’s music on Spotify. However, the content we do have varies over time and between countries depending on permissions from rights holders. If you're unable to play a song that appears grayed out, it's currently not available in your country.

We add new content every day, so if you can’t find something, it may appear (or reappear) soon.

Thanks for posting in the Community.

The short answer to your question is no. There is no method to request songs via Spotify as this is just a streaming app. As @Novy explained we'd love to give you access to all the songs out there, but if a song isn't available in your region this is dependent on the artists or their music distributors who can eventually make the content available in the future.
